Dictionary Definition Of The Green Eyed Monster

Mr Jealous aka Mr Green eyed has gotten his 'slave' to do his bidding again and post his name and picture in several Bay City Rollers fb groups yet again. His behaviour is so tiresome. Talk about desperate. He really is just too pathetic for words.

There's Only One BCR

There's only one Bay City Rollers! The classic 5 Bay City Rollers. They are the original Bay City Rollers. They are Woody, Eric, Alan Leslie and Derek.

The Classic 5 ARE The BCR!

In another article the writer states the Bay City Rollers' classic lineup featured Leslie McKeown, but he wasn't the first lead singer of the Scottish hitmakers.

Well, that may ne the case but the fact of the matter is he's the only one who really matters when talking about the phenomenon that was The Bay City Rollers in the 70s. He's the only one that matters. That's just the truth of the matter. Les Mckeown was the lead singer when Rollermania erupted first in the UK then worldwide. He was 1 fifth of the Bay City Rollers. He was the lead singer of the only Bay City Rollers that matter when it comes to talking about  the massive success of the group. They were mega successful. The were absolutely  massive. They were a worldwide phenomenon. They caused Rollermania such as had not been seen since the days of the Beatles. And who were they? The Bay City Rollers were Leslie Richard Mckeown, Eric Faulkner, Stuart Wood or Woody to the fans, Alan Longmuir and Derek Longmuir.. And when people are asked about the Bay City Rollers, it's exactly that line that comes to mind. Those classic 5 ARE The Bay City Rollers.  And no amount of regret or jealousy is ever going to change that.

First Lead Singer claims his vocals were on the hit single Saturday Night when it was released in the US

First (and worst) lead singer in the Bay City Rollers who left the group in 1973 before the group became massive and mega successful vows to recover decades worth of royalties!

First and worst lead singer claims his vocals were on the hit single Saturday Night when it was released in the US.

Clark has vowed to recover decades worth of royalties claiming to have been the 'voice' of the group for almost a decade before leaving the group and Bay City Rollers lead singer Les McKeown joining the group in 1973. The late Les McKeown died in 2021

Nobby Clark claims he was the main voice on the Edinburgh band's biggest US hit. He has also claimed to have been the driving force in the Bay City Rollers and claims to be the main reason for their success. (He's clearly delusional)

As the Daily Record reports, Nobby Clark claims it was his voice on the single that broke the band in the US - Saturday Night. He also claims he was conned out of cash by Rollers manager Tam Paton, who has also passed away.

Mr Clark said: "When the band filed a motion to have me dismissed from the 2011 court case in New York against Arista/Sony for unpaid royalties, they forced me out." He added: "For years, certain members of the band's so-called 'classic line-up' have done everything in their power to write me out of the Rollers' story.

"I'm sick of it. Some were not even in the band when songs like Keep on Dancing and Remember were hits."

He added: "The Bay City Rollers sold an estimated 120million records, which include many songs sung by me, yet band members destroyed my right to present evidence to that effect in court.

"I discovered, while speaking to a record company insider, money due to me was split between classic Bay City Rollers members and Tam Paton. I received nothing." Claiming it is his voice on key Rollers hits in the US, Nobby said: "The Bay City Rollers' only No 1 in America, Saturday Night, was released by Arista Records with my lead vocal and backing harmonies. (Well he would say that wouldn't he. Anyone remember him saying any of this when Les Mckeown was still alive? No, I didn't think so. He waited until Leslie Mckeown was dead to make this ludicrous, false claim. I wonder why)

"One band member actually phoned me to tell me I'd better get my lawyer on to it." Nobby Clark was the first singer in the group with Dave -Pettigrew, Neil Porteous and the Longmuir brothers. But this line up was not a worldwide success and most people in the UK, USA, Australia and the rest of the world had never even heard of them. Nobby Clark left the group to pursue a solo career. It was only after he left and a new lead singer Leslie Mckeown joined the group in 1973 as well as a new guitarist Stuart Wood that the group became successful and a worldwide phenomenon causing mania everywhere they went as the 5 members (including Leslie Mckeown, Eric Faulkner and Stuart 'Woody' Wood) became household names in the UK, Australia, The USA and beyond.

Mr Clark (72) claims that throughout the 60s and early 70s Mr Clark took the band into the top ten and on to Top of The Pops. (The guy is clearly not only delusional but a liar and an egomaniac)

Mr Clark reveals how he told Paton he was leaving the band in 1973 (some claim he left in 1972) while the last song he sang on 'Remember' was in the charts.

On his role in their biggest US hit, Mr Clark said: "Saturday Night was sent to Clive Davis, head of Arista Records in America, after Les McKeown had joined the band.

"He was unaware my voice was on it because the record company in London and Paton did not want him to know I had left the band and that they had a new singer. They later re-recorded the song with Les for an album but by then Saturday Night had already entered the Billboard Top 100.This is what Mr Clark claims. This was confirmed by Alan Longmuir and Bill Martin, the co-writer of Saturday Night, when we met in Edinburgh before his death in 2020."

Mr Clark added: "It has taken me a long time to gather evidence of 35 Rollers albums released worldwide featuring my voice as well as a list of single releases prior to the classic line-up filing a motion to have me dismissed from the court case against Arista/Sony. That took any chance of receiving my royalties away from me but I'll continue to fight for what is rightfully mine."

That's right two dead people no chance of them defending their side

Former singer claims it's his voice on the hit version of 'Saturday Night'

Bay City Rollers' former member claims it's his voice on the hit version of 'Saturday Night'

Article claimed Nobby Clark left the group and was replaced by Les McKeown just before the Rollers' breakthrough. This is inaccurate. Actually, the fact of the matter is this person was NOT replaced, he left the group to pursue a solo career. Then Les Mckeown joined the group in 1973. The rest is history.

The Bay City Rollers' classic lineup featured Les McKeown, but he wasn't the first lead singer of the Scottish hitmakers. But he is the only one that matters! True Colours

It was so shocking and just so terribly sad when people all over the world learned the news of a the death of a very famous man who had been in a group in the seventies achieving worldwide fame. He was from Scotland (as were all 4 others in the group) and his group (band) were renowned for the style of clothes they wore and having fans who copied the way they dressed. When he died in April 2020 it was a tremendous shock. It was so unexpected. Family and fans were devastated. On hearing the news some of the shocked fans said they were heartbroken. A much loved person had gone. (and far too early).

Bereavement is just so awful, but sadly it comes to all sooner or later. Family and fans grieved for him and mourned their loss. It was just so sad to know someone they cared about deeply was gone. The death of a loved one is something that is mourned in a personal way. Everybody is individual. But usually, when it comes to death there are social norms that are understood. There's a kind of etiquette that people understand and are expected to abide by. Even if someone hears of another person's passing but the person is unknown to them there is still a certain etiquette that a person is expected to show. And by etiquette I'm talking about showing respect to the person who has passed. Even when a person doesn’t know the person who has died, instinctively there is a deeply held respect in all of us for a person who has just died.

But it seems that there are some in this world who don't quite view things the same way. Some obviously see another person's death as an opportunity. Some see another person’s death as an opportunity to get some cheap publicity for themselves.  Yes, that’s right, there are people in this world like this. There are some in this world who stoop this low.

No sooner had the news of this famous singer’s untimely death been announced on social media, a person called Nobby Clarke posted about it on his facebook page.  Now I really don’t want to give this parasite any more publicity but this cannot be ignored because what he did is just so low and quite disgusting.

Soon after this famous singer’s death had been announced Nobby Clarke posted a post about it on his Facebook page. And what a post. It was a self-serving post giving his condolences for the singer’s death and blah blah blah. He started going on about himself and talking about the Bay City Rollers saying we this and we that as if he was in the group. He wasn't! The Bay City Rollers are nothing to do with him! His post was completely self-serving posted to make himself look good and sadly many people were completely fooled by him. They fell for his fakery hook line and sinker. But not everyone was fooled. I certainly wasn’t! I saw straight through this creep.

It was quite revealing scrolling down the comments on his post seeing person after person saying how nice he is for posting the post and being completely taken in. It was nauseating. It was so obvious what he was doing.

Some people actually posted nasty comments under his post, nasty comments about the famous singer who had just died. And remember, he’d only just died. They were saying nasty comments about the famous singer who had just died and praising Knobby. So what did he do about that? Did he delete the nasty comments? No he didn’t, he did the opposite - he liked the comments! Absolutely unbelievable. This famous singer had only just died and people were on this guy’s post writing nasty comments saying how this guy was better than the singer who had  just died, and he LIKED the comment. What does that tell you about this person's true character? Not only did he allow people to come on a post about this  famous singer's death and allow them to slag him off, he then liked their comments. This man is a complete snake. He is a complete phony. He didn’t give two sh--- about the famous singer who'd just died. His post was completely self-serving, written and posted to serve himself and try to make himself look good. Despite conning a lot of people his post actually revealed what he is. A nasty person who likes to pretend he’s nice when clearly he's not. He’s a horrible man. He's deceptive. I couldn’t believe it when this famous singer had just died and this piece of vermin (NC) allowed his mates and others to come on the post and slag off the famous singer who had just died and allow them to use his post to say nasty things about the famous singer who'd just died. That showed his true colours right there. It was plain to see he is nothing but a fake. It was plain to see he was insincere, as was his nauseating post. No matter how much someone tries to pretend to be something they're not the truth always comes out in the end. They always end up revealing their true colours. And in this case it was via a FB post, the post that showed that Mr Clark is a phony and a parasite.

The Comment That Was Long Overdue

The Comment That Was Long Overdue!

Now concerning that comment that was made concerning an ex-member of a certain Scottish pop group that became massive in the 70s after he'd left the group. All who have privately voiced their opinion on this, well....... all I can say is....... I fully agree.

Which comment am I talking about?

The one in which someone said they don't know why this person is ever featured anywhere the BCR are mentioned. He voluntarily walked away, and was replaced by Les. He had little, if anything to do with their success!

Finally!

At long last someone has actually said the truth out loud about this particular subject. This person had nothing to do with the Bay City Rollers success. And who got lost? What??? Who exactly was lost? Who? Who???? The answer is nobody. This person wasn't lost, he left the group. He left the band for goodness sake! He wanted to leave the group so he left the group. He wasn't sacked he left the group of his own volition.  And after he had left and Les and Woody joined the Bay City Rollers, then and only then did the group become successful after having been a failure. End of. Yes there were some record sales but it was nothing major. With this person as lead singer they were never going to be big. Never. And that's it. This person really needs to get over himself and the fact that he failed in the group. He needs to stop being jealous of the group's success. He didn't make it. The band became attractive after he was gone and replaced by Les Mckeown.  That's life. Les was the better man for the group. Woody was better than the person he replaced as well. (actually Woody was better than both of them. So was Les)  Like I said, that's life. This person needs to just accept that it wasn't meant to be.... not with him anyway. He just wasn't the right person for the group. He wasn't good enough and let's face it did not have the looks and therefore wasn't who the fans wanted. Tha't's just a fact of life. That's just the brutal reality of the music business. He really needs to grow up and accept that he didn't make it. Had he stayed the group would've continued to be a failure. Look at the Beatles. Didn't they have a member who left or was sacked and he missed out on the success of the  Beatles? I can't even remember his name. I believe his surname was Best. He had to leave the Beatles and soon afterwards they became massive. Yet when people talk about the Beatles they talk about the actual Beatles, not the ones that left the band! I don't hear him with sour grapes. I don't see him trying to steal the glory from the Beatles  and insert himself within the Beatles and try to pretend he was part of the Beatles when they were successful (The Fab Four) when their success was nothing to do with him.  It is so stupid what has been going on it really is. I am so glad that that someone finally said what needed to be said. The jealousy of Les and of the Bay City Rollers success from 1974 is absolute ridiculous. Some people need to grow up and realize that no one is guaranteed anything in this life. No one is entitled to success. This person was the singer at one point. The group were getting nowhere so he wanted to leave and he left. The group was a failure at that time. But then Les came along and with his looks, his personality and his lovely voice (which was far better than the previous singer) he helped to change the fortunes of the group along with Woody. Woody replaced someone else and that person leaving was a blessing for the group. With Woody's good looks and personality..... well the group just had to become a huge success. Had certain people not left many of us would probably have never even heard of the Bay City Rollers! The girls preferred Les and Woody and with good reason. Thank goodness Les and Woody came along and transformed the group for the better.

And at last someone has said what many many BCR fans have been thinking for years.
